It's what I live... or so I'm told.

Purple tumblr is pretty. (Did it get darker though? I really liked the lighter lavender…)
For those not in the know, on October 20th, people are not just wearing purple in remembrance of the gay youths who have recently taken their own lives due to bullying and intolerance, but to also show the LGBT community that there are people who care and that it gets better.
Love is love, fight the hate. ♥

Time after Time

Can. Not. Get. It. Out. Of. My. Head.

But in other news. Books that I’ve been reading and that I recommend, as summer reads (though I know that summer is essentially over, I have to make up for it in the next 9 days before leaving for France).

So:

My Summer of Southern Discomfort Stephanie Gayle

Prodigal Summer Barbara Kingsolver

The Poisonwood Bible Barbara Kingsolver

The Buenos Aires Broken Hearts Club Jessica Morrison

Misery Loves Cabernet Kim Gruenenfelder

(Which I just found out is the second book of a series, but it’s seamless and you can’t tell by picking it up… The first book is A Total Waste of Makeup)

and of course the never ever going to fail being a good summer read…

Harry Potter (all of them. I’m on Deathly Hallows right now, for the 8th time).

Besides that, I’ve finished packing for France. I’m booking my hotel room in a few hours, I’m ready for some amazing wine, cheese and photographic opportunities… le sigh. It will be wonderful.

Ung.

Today, I finished the last day of the first quarter of my senior year. Holy wow.

Now?

Pack for France.

Buy a laptop charger.

Make more money.

Get a hotel in Marseille (I keep forgetting to do that)

Send my flights to SCAD

Write a really good apology.

Eating would be good.

France.

Learn French?

Get my second cover of Connect Magazine in 6 months… yep.

And I just saw a businessman with a leopard print bow-tie. Just thought everyone should know that those exist.

It’s An Adventure.

I might be driving to Jacksonville in 30 or so minutes. Erin missed her flight to Savannah from Miami, so they put her on a plane to Jacksonville. Which is only a few hours away…

I would rather drive, and see her in a few hours and have a 2 hour car ride to catch up on the way back, than sit around Savannah for the rest of the day and wait for her to catch an expensive shuttle, to a Greyhound and get here at 7:00. No thank you.

Which means I need to charge my iPod ASAP so I can listen to something good on my possible adventure….. :)

Never a dull moment.

I can’t imagine a man really enjoying a book and reading it only once.

This blew my mind, if you’re interested in photos (at all, from my fellow BFA’s to my friends with their little point and shoots), you should check it out. There are some really interesting points and a lot of good camera knowledge. Very intersting!
